Domenys del Penedès was a small Catalan municipality — today absorbed into Pontons — that issued its own emergency fractional currency during the Civil War under the Republican system of local moneda de necessitat. Hundreds of Catalan towns did the same after the banking system fractured in 1936, but most used Barcelona printers. This note was produced locally at Barnadas in El Vendrell, the nearest town of any size, which kept the printing run close to home and probably small.

Turró catalogues it as #911. The issuing authority ceased to function as an independent body well before the war ended.
