| Obverse description | Printed entirely in red on cream paper, the obverse is framed by a double-ruled rectangular border with corner blocks and arrow-shaped ornaments at the upper left and right. The serial number appears at the top centre beneath the border, with the large denomination legend in bold capitals below. The body of the note carries the issuing authority's pledge text in cursive letterpress, dated November 1937, followed at the foot by three manuscript signatures above their respective role titles. |
