| 备注 |
Castellví de la Marca is a small municipality in the Alt Penedès comarca of Catalonia, and like hundreds of similarly modest towns it resorted to printing its own fractional currency during 1937 when Republican Spain's acute shortage of coin made small change effectively unusable. These hyper-local emissions — known collectively as moneda de necessitat — were authorized under the Generalitat de Catalunya's emergency provisions and are catalogued in the thousands across Turró's reference work.
Three signatories were required: the mayor, the secretary-treasurer, and the depositary. That formal structure on a note this small reflects the Generalitat's insistence on municipal accountability even in wartime improvisation.
