| 正面描述 | The obverse is printed in red on cream paper within a hatched border frame, and carries allegorical vignettes at the top corners representing twin solar motifs flanking a central composition of a wheat sheaf, cogwheel, and winged Mercury helmet — emblems of agriculture, industry, and commerce respectively. The denomination numeral and authority inscriptions are set across the lower portion, with designated spaces for the manuscript signatures of the Interventor, Alcalde, and Depositari. The overall design is executed in a simple letterpress style typical of wartime Catalan municipal emergency issues. |

Castellterçol is a small town in the Moianès comarca of Catalonia, and its 1937 peseta note is one of hundreds of municipal emergency issues produced during the Civil War when the Republican government's centralized currency supply collapsed and local authorities — including town halls, worker collectives, and cooperatives — were left to print their own small-denomination paper. The printer, Grafos Col·lectivitzada, was a Barcelona firm operating under worker collectivization, one of the more active commercial printers supplying these local issues during the anarchist-influenced period of 1936–38.
Turró catalogued over a thousand such Catalan municipal notes; number 767 places this squarely within the dense middle of that documentation effort, neither among the rarest nor the most common survivals.
