备注

Castellar de n'Hug is a small mountain village in the Berguedà comarca of Catalonia, and its wartime municipal scrip belongs to the vast ecosystem of emergency paper money — vales, bitllets, moneda local — that proliferated across Republican-held territory after the coup of July 1936 drained coins from circulation almost overnight. By 1937, even genuinely tiny municipalities felt compelled to print their own fractional currency simply to keep local commerce moving.

Turró 689 is among the scarcer Berguedà village issues; the print runs for notes like this were small and the paper fragile.
