| 备注 |
Casas Ibáñez is a small municipality in the Cuenca province of Castilla-La Mancha, and this 1 peseta note is a product of the acute small-change crisis that gripped Republican-held Spain from mid-1936 onward. With the Nationalist uprising disrupting normal monetary supply chains and the public hoarding metal coinage almost immediately, hundreds of Spanish municipalities issued their own emergency paper — locally printed, locally guaranteed, and legally worthless beyond the issuing town's borders.
The Gari Mon reference places this firmly within the documented Albacete provincial emergency issues. Municipal notes of this type were typically demonetized and withdrawn within months, which accounts for their scarcity in any condition showing genuine handling.
