The central text panel carries the issue legend in Catalan script on a lightly tinted ground, with a thistle-and-wreath underprint rosette at centre. The border is composed of interlaced foliate guilloche bands along the bottom and stylised botanical scrollwork on the lateral frames, with the issuer's name in large capitals across the top header. |
