备注

Capafonts is a small village in the Baix Camp comarca of Tarragona, population well under a thousand even in the 1930s. Its municipal council issued emergency paper money during the Spanish Civil War under the same decree that authorized hundreds of Catalan municipalities to produce local currency when coin disappeared from circulation almost overnight in 1936–37. Turró's catalog documents just how atomized this emergency system became — villages of every size printing their own scrip, often in tiny runs, with survival rates that correlate brutally with original quantity.

Notes from micro-municipalities like Capafonts are among the more elusive in the Turró series.
