The issuer's name 'L'AJUNTAMENT DE CALAFELL' is set in large bold dark brown type across the upper portion, with the bearer clause 'PAGARÀ AL PORTADOR' centred below; the face value 'UNA Pesseta' occupies the centre in large display type. The date 'Maig del 1937' appears at lower right, a manuscript signature with the designation 'L'Alcalde C. de Finances' at lower left, and a hand-stamped serial number at lower right.
