| 表面の説明 | The vignette presents a composite allegory of Blanes' economic identity: a boat at sea forms the central motif, flanked by a figure holding a sickle alongside a fishing net, with the industrial silhouette of the SAFA factory chimneys visible in the background. The design unites the town's seafaring, agricultural, and industrial vocations within a single pictorial composition. Surrounding text inscriptions identify the issuing municipality and the note's redemption terms at the Caixa Municipal. |

During the Spanish Civil War, the Republican zone faced an acute shortage of small change almost immediately after July 1936. Metallic coin had vanished — hoarded, melted, or simply removed from circulation by fear. Hundreds of Catalan municipalities responded by issuing their own emergency paper fractional currency, known collectively as moneda local or "guerra civil" municipal notes. Blanes, a coastal town in the Girona province, was among them.
Printed locally by Imprenta Blandònia, this note reflects the improvised nature of the series — small-town printers working with whatever type and stock they had on hand. Turró catalogues it as #464.
