Descrizione del dritto	At left, the denomination numeral '1' is set within a scroll cartouche above the inscription 'PESSETA'; to the right, a vignette of a sickle resting across a sheaf of wheat ears is rendered against a dark horizontal-lined sky scattered with stars. Three manuscript signatures occupy the lower central field, attributed respectively to the Conseller de Finances, the Secretari-Interventor, and L'Alcalde, accompanied by the issuance date. The issuing authority's name is printed in bold letterpress across a framed panel at the base of the note.

Commenti	Begur is a small coastal municipality in the Baix Empordà comarca of Girona, and like hundreds of Catalan towns during the Spanish Civil War, it issued its own emergency fractional currency after the Republic's central coin supply collapsed in 1936–37. The Consell Municipal — the locally controlled republican body — had both the legal authorization under Generalitat decree and the practical urgency to act. Gràfiques Darío Rahola in Girona printed for several of these small municipal emitters across the province, which is why the production quality across Turró-catalogued Girona issues is broadly consistent. The cardboard substrate is typical of the austerity constraints on these wartime locals. Survivors tend to show edge wear from heavy hand-to-hand use in a town with no other small-denomination exchange medium.
