| Obverse description | Large numeral '1' with a stippled or granular texture occupies the central field, flanked on either side by a symmetrical foliate or interlaced scroll ornament. The legend 'PESETA' is inscribed along the lower arc in bold raised capitals. Four groups of three raised dots are evenly distributed around the inner border, punctuating the design at regular intervals.
