Beschrijving voorzijde	Within an oval guilloche border with decorative corner pieces and small armorial cartouches, the Cyrillic state name КРАЉЕВИНА ЦРНАГОРА appears at upper left and right. A vertically oriented anchor and key device occupies the centre above the large red Cyrillic denomination ЈЕДАН ПЕРПЕР, flanked by the numeral 1 at each side. Two manuscript signatures over printed titles for the President of the Main State Controller and the Minister of Finance appear below, with the place and date of issue — Цетиње, 25 јула 1914 — at the foot.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The entire field is covered by a dense typographic underprint of repeating Cyrillic text КРАЉЕВИНАЦРНАГОРА arranged in horizontal rows, serving as a security background. Centred in the upper portion, the bold Cyrillic state name КРАЉЕВИНА ЦРНАГОРА is printed above the large denomination ЈЕДАН ПЕРПЕР, with a circular official ink stamp impression at centre. A legal warning against counterfeiting in smaller Cyrillic type is printed at the foot.
