Centred in the upper portion, the bold Cyrillic legends 'КРАЉЕВИНА ЦРНАГОРА' and 'ЈЕДАН ПЕРПЕР' appear above a smaller-text statement of the legal basis of issue, with a faint circular official government stamp visible at centre. A counterfeiting warning citing articles 145 and 146 of the criminal code is printed at the foot.
