| Beschrijving keerzijde | A bold voided cross pattée divides the reverse into four quarters, each containing a crescent and pellet motif — the defining type elements of this issue — executed in the vigorous, somewhat irregular style of hammered medieval coinage. The angles of the cross are further decorated with curved ornamental devices. The moneyer's inscription + FOLPOLT DE PERT surrounds the design in the border legend, reading the moneyer's name (Folpolt) and mint location (Perth), separated by pellet stops. |
