| Beschrijving voorzijde | Crude bust of the ruler facing right in the Hiberno-Norse style, rendered with characteristic schematic features including a prominent eye, diadem or helmet, and rudimentary drapery at the truncation. A large curved ornamental line frames the bust to the right, a distinctive feature of Hiberno-Norse coinage derived from Anglo-Saxon prototypes but executed with increasing stylization.
