| Beschrijving keerzijde | Long cross type reverse, with a plain voided cross extending to the inner border and dividing the field into four quarters, each containing a single pellet or small annulet. The cross arms are bold and well-defined, consistent with the Late Long Cross coinage type derived from the English prototype of Æthelred II. The surrounding legend, in irregular retrograde Latin lettering characteristic of Hiberno-Norse moneyer inscriptions, records the name of the moneyer Faeremin and the mint of Dublin. The legends are separated by a cross pommée at the start of the inscription. |
