| Beschrijving keerzijde | A small pattée cross occupies the centre of a plain inner circle, its short arms characteristic of the Small Cross type. The field within the inner circle is otherwise bare, focusing attention on the central motif. A degraded and partially garbled Latin legend surrounds the inner circle, reading ✠ NDERMIN OMO DIFL, representing a corrupted rendering of the moneyer's name and mint — typical of Hiberno-Norse imitative coinage where the die-cutter did not fully understand the original Anglo-Saxon lettering. The design is enclosed by an outer beaded border. |
