| Beschrijving voorzijde | Facing crowned bust of King Henry VIII, rendered in a stylised, archaic manner characteristic of early Tudor hammered coinage. The king is depicted enthroned, holding a lis-tipped sceptre in his right hand and a globus cruciger in his left. Flanking the throne are two pillar-like supports, each surmounted by a fleur-de-lis finial.
