| Beschrijving keerzijde | A voided long cross extends to the coin's edge, dividing the reverse into four quadrants, each filled with a trefoil of pellets. The moneyer's name and mint name are inscribed in the surrounding legend in Latin script. Lombardic N letterforms appear in the legends of coins attributable to the Bury St Edmunds mint, providing a diagnostic feature for mint attribution. The overall design follows the standard Long Cross penny format introduced under Henry III. |
