| Beschrijving voorzijde | Facing crowned bust of King Henry II rendered in the crude, stylised manner characteristic of the Tealby coinage. The king is depicted wearing a toothed or crenellated crown, with deeply cut, somewhat abstract facial features including wide eyes and a short beard indicated by pellet or wedge devices. A sceptre or cross-headed staff appears to the left of the bust. The surrounding field is irregular, and a partial Latin legend runs around the periphery of the flan. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A large voided cross pattée divides the reverse into four quadrants, each containing a cluster of four lozenge-shaped or pellet ornaments arranged in a diamond pattern, a design distinctive of the Tealby class D penny. The cross extends close to the edge of the irregular flan. The moneyer's name and mint name appear in the surrounding legend, though the flan irregularity frequently results in partial or poorly struck lettering. The overall execution is characteristic of the rough hammered technique employed throughout the Tealby series. |
