| Beschrijving voorzijde | Bare-headed left-facing effigy of King George VI, modelled by Thomas Humphrey Paget, occupying the central field. The king is depicted with neatly combed hair and a composed, refined portrait in the style typical of Commonwealth coinage of the era. The engraver's initials 'HP' appear in small relief below the truncation of the neck. The circular legend reads 'GEORGE VI KING EMPEROR' disposed around the upper and right periphery of the coin, with a finely beaded border encircling the entire design. |
