Obverse description Central round hole pierces the field, around which the denomination legend is arranged in two scripts: the Latin inscription ONE PENNY arcs across the upper portion of the field, while the Arabic equivalent واحد پني is inscribed below the hole. A Tudor crown surmounts the upper field, positioned directly above the central perforation. The outer legend, reading GEORGIVS SEXTUS REX, encircles the design in raised Latin capitals along the periphery, separated from the inner field by a plain raised rim and a fine beaded border.
