Rocky outcroppings or land are faintly suggested in the right background, evoking the Bermudian coastline. The legend BERMUDA arcs across the upper field in bold raised Latin lettering, while the date 1793 appears in the lower exergual area beneath the vessel. A toothed border encircles the design.
