Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of King George III facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curling hair tied with a ribbon at the nape. The king wears a laurel wreath secured by a band, with individual leaves clearly articulated in the neoclassical style characteristic of late 18th-century British colonial coinage. The circumferential Latin legend reads GEORGIUS III . D . G . REX ., interrupted at the truncation, and the whole design is enclosed within a fine beaded border.

Reverse description A three-masted full-rigged sailing ship, sails billowing, depicted underway on stylized waves and sailing to the left across the central field, representing the Sea Venture, the vessel historically associated with Bermuda's settlement. To the right, a rocky promontory or reef is visible in the background, evoking the islands' maritime geography. The arched legend BERMUDA appears above in the upper field, and the date 1793 is placed in the lower exergue. The design is enclosed within a beaded border.
