Obverse description Hammered effigy of Queen Elizabeth I facing left, crowned with a Tudor crown, presented as a simplified bust within a beaded inner circle. The regal portrait is rendered in the characteristic flat, stylized manner of late Elizabethan hammered coinage. A Latin legend encircles the effigy between the beaded circle and the coin's edge.
