| 正面描述 | Right-facing crowned and draped bust of King Edward VII, engraved by G.W. de Saulles, set within a raised beaded inner circle. The effigy depicts the king wearing the Imperial State Crown and elaborate robes with regalia detail visible at the shoulder. The circumferential legend EDWARD VII KING AND EMPEROR arcs around the upper portion of the field between the beaded circle and the milled rim. The date appears in the lower exergual area below the bust, outside the beaded circle. |

Jamaica's copper-nickel coinage of this period was administered through the Crown Agents in London, with blanks and finished coins produced at the Royal Mint. Edward VII's Jamaican issues ran for only six years before his death in May 1910, cutting the series short. The vertical shading in the arms distinguishes this type from the earlier bronze issues and was introduced as part of a broader standardization of colonial coinage under the Colonial Office.
