| Beschrijving keerzijde | As a bracteate, the reverse displays an incuse mirror image of the obverse design, showing the voided double cross and saltire ornaments in negative relief. The legend appears as an indistinct incuse impression around the inner circle, consistent with the single-die hammered bracteate technique employed at Dublin in the early twelfth century. The flan edges are ragged and irregular, typical of the period. |
