| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field dominated by a highly stylised cruciform design composed of four interlocking crozier heads radiating symmetrically from a central point, rendered in the distinctive Hiberno-Norse decorative tradition. Each crozier volute is boldly executed in relief, creating a complex interlaced foliate appearance characteristic of late Viking-age Irish coinage. The design fills the flan almost entirely, with pellet ornaments interspersed between the crozier elements. The surrounding border consists of an irregular beaded or dotted ring. No ruler portrait is present, the type being anonymous and identified solely by its ornamental device. |

The cross extends to the inner beaded border, which encircles the entire design. The execution is characteristically irregular, reflecting hand-hammered production on an imperfectly shaped flan.
