Beschrijving voorzijde Central field dominated by a highly stylised cruciform design composed of four interlocking crozier heads radiating symmetrically from a central point, rendered in the distinctive Hiberno-Norse decorative tradition. Each crozier volute is boldly executed in relief, creating a complex interlaced foliate appearance characteristic of late Viking-age Irish coinage. The design fills the flan almost entirely, with pellet ornaments interspersed between the crozier elements. The surrounding border consists of an irregular beaded or dotted ring. No ruler portrait is present, the type being anonymous and identified solely by its ornamental device.

Beschrijving keerzijde A bold voided long cross divides the reverse into four quarters, each containing a pellet or small annulet in the field, consistent with the Hiberno-Norse imitative penny tradition derived from contemporary Anglo-Saxon prototypes. A crozier or stylised staff element appears in one quarter, reinforcing the ecclesiastical iconography of this anonymous issue. The cross extends to the inner beaded border, which encircles the entire design. The execution is characteristically irregular, reflecting hand-hammered production on an imperfectly shaped flan. A degraded or blundered legend surrounds the cross within the beaded border, largely illegible.
