Reverse description A squared arch or arcade motif occupies the central field within a raised inner circle, depicted as a stylised architectural form with a flat top and flanking columns or pilasters, characteristic of Romanesque ecclesiastical symbolism employed on Danish medieval coinage. The surrounding Latin legend fills the outer field and runs clockwise from a cross pommée stop. The hammered flan shows typical irregular shaping and slight weakness at the periphery.
