Reverse description A bold double-barred or lined long cross divides the field into four quarters, extending to the inner beaded border and intersecting at a central pellet. The cross arms are rendered with parallel incised lines, giving a voided or double-lined appearance typical of Norwegian medieval pennings. A curved beaded arc spans the upper two quarters within the inner circle, creating a lunette effect decorated with a small floral motif at the base of the arc. Additional small trefoil ornaments appear in the lower quadrants. The peripheral legend in uncial Latin reads CRVX XPI, signifying the Cross of Christ.
