Reverse description A hammer depicted in low relief at the centre of the flan, positioned diagonally within the plain unlettered field. The implement is rendered schematically, as is characteristic of small, hand-struck medieval Danish pennings. The flan is irregular with uneven edges, and no surrounding legend or additional device is present. The strike is shallow, consistent with the lightweight hammered coinage of the period.
