Reverse description Central field features a small cross pattée or voided cross motif centered within a plain inner circle, rendered in low but distinct relief. Surrounding the inner circle is a broad ornamental border composed of a continuous foliate or pellet-and-arc pattern, giving the reverse a decorative, wreath-like appearance. Beyond this decorative band runs the moneyer and mint legend in Latin characters within the outer field, separated by pellet stops. The overall design is typical of late Anglo-Scandinavian short-cross penning types, reflecting English monetary influence on Danish coinage of the period.
