| Beschrijving keerzijde | A bold voided long cross divides the field into four quadrants, extending to the beaded border in the manner typical of Anglo-Saxon-influenced Norwegian pennies of the late 11th century. The arms of the cross are double-lined, creating a prominent central motif that dominates the reverse. A partial Latin legend naming the moneyer runs around the periphery within the beaded border, though the flan irregularity causes portions of the inscription to be off-flan. The overall style reflects the strong influence of contemporary English penny designs on Norwegian royal coinage of this period. |
