Obverse description The crowned Hungarian royal coat of arms occupies the central field, featuring the traditional quartered shield with the Árpád stripes on the dexter side and the apostolic double cross on the sinister side, surmounted by the Holy Crown of Saint Stephen with its characteristic bent cross finial. The circular legend MAGYAR KIRÁLYSÁG (Kingdom of Hungary) arcs along the lower periphery of the coin, flanking the shield on both sides.
