| Obverse description | A floriated cross with four curved arms forms a quadrilobe frame enclosing the conjoined initials AE (for Albertus and Elisabeth) at the center of the field. The cross terminals are decorated with trefoil or foliate motifs at each extremity, giving the design an ornate Gothic character. A circular Latin legend surrounds the entire composition along the coin's rim. |
