| Obverse description | The coat of arms of Macau occupies the central field, featuring the Portuguese royal shield supported by two winged figures, surmounted by a mural crown flanked by a Cross of the Order of Christ and a celestial sphere. A scrolling ribbon below bears the Portuguese motto CIDADE DO NOME DE DEUS DE MACAU NÃO HÁ OUTRA MAIS LEAL. Above the arms, the Chinese characters 澳門 (Macau) appear in traditional script, flanked by the Latin legend MACAU at the top of the field.
