| Reverse description | Central field bears a multi-line Arabic inscription in Ottoman script occupying the majority of the flan, recording the regnal year, the mint name Islambol, and the Hijri accession year 1203. The numeral indicating the regnal year appears prominently within the legend. The inscription is enclosed within a single inner linear border, with a beaded outer border following the coin's circumference. The overall layout and calligraphic execution are consistent with standard hammered billon para issues of the late Ottoman period struck at the Islambol (Constantinople) mint. |
