| Obverse description | Central Arabic inscription arranged in three lines across the field, recording the regnal year numeral (25), the mint name Tripoli (طرابلس), and the Hijri date 1223. The legends are rendered in an informal, hand-engraved style characteristic of provincial Ottoman hammered coinage. A dotted border encircles the irregular flan. The overall design follows the standard Ottoman provincial format, with the striking year placed prominently at the top of the inscription. |
