正面描述 Central field bears the royal legend in Devanagari script reading 'Shri Tribhuvan Veer Vikram Sahadev', arranged in multiple lines within a recessed rectangular panel. The Vikram Samvat regnal year appears below the central inscription. Decorative floral or dot ornaments flank the panel in the surrounding field, consistent with traditional Nepalese coin design of the early Shah dynasty period.

附加信息

Nepal's copper paisa coinage of this period was produced under Tribhuvan, who ascended the throne in 1911 at age five following the death of his father Prithvi Bir Bikram. Real authority remained firmly with the Rana prime ministers — Tribhuvan was largely a ceremonial figurehead until his dramatic 1950 escape to the Indian embassy in Kathmandu, which ultimately broke Rana political dominance. These coins were struck entirely under that shadow government, the king's name on the copper carrying little of the power it implied.
