| Reverse description | Central field features a raised square cartouche enclosing a three-line Devanagari inscription invoking 'Shree Pasupatinath Nepal', a reference to the sacred Pashupatinath temple, the principal Hindu shrine of Nepal and the dynastic protector deity. A crescent moon symbol appears at the top of the field above the cartouche, flanked by dot ornaments. Additional Devanagari or Ranjana script elements appear in the peripheral border at the bottom of the field. The overall design follows the traditional square-within-circle format characteristic of Nepalese copper coinage of the Shah period. |
