Obverse description Hammered copper flan of irregular round form bearing a two-line Arabic inscription within a rectangular cartouche, divided by a horizontal rule. The upper register contains the regnal legend identifying the Mughal emperor Shah Alam II, while the lower register presents the AH date of issue. The script is rendered in a bold, deeply struck Naskh style characteristic of late Mughal copper coinage struck at the Akbarabad mint.
