| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field depicts a stylized temple or shrine surmounted by a pataka (flag or finial), rendered in the bold, naive style typical of Sailana feudatory coinage. Surrounding the central motif are Devanagari inscriptions arranged in the field, likely identifying the issuing authority or state name. The legends are deeply but crudely struck, consistent with hand-hammered production techniques of Indian princely state issues of the period. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Sailana was among the smallest of the Rajputana feudatory states, covering barely 300 square miles in what is now Madhya Pradesh. Its coinage authority was sharply constrained — the Barmawal issue represents one of the few autonomous copper strikes the state produced before the consolidation of currency under British Indian monetary policy effectively ended local minting across the smaller princely territories.
