| Obverse description | Central field features a stylized leaf motif rendered in the Gurmukhi artistic tradition, with the inscription 'Jaraba Sri Amritsarji' and the Nanakshahi Samvat year 1885 arranged around the central device. The legends are struck in Gurmukhi script, with bold, slightly irregular characters typical of hammered copper coinage of the Sikh Empire. The flan is slightly irregular in shape with a textured, granular surface consistent with hand-struck issues of the Amritsar mint. |
