| Reverse description | Square hammered flan bearing a Devanagari legend across the field. The inscription reads 'Sri Ekalinga Prasadat, Vikrama Era,' invoking the patronage of the deity Ekalinga, the tutelary god of Mewar, and referencing the Vikrama Samvat era. The legend is distributed across the face in a multi-line arrangement typical of medieval Rajput coinage, rendered in relief on the rough copper surface with a pronounced green patina. |

Rana Kumbha ruled Mewar at its political and military peak, defeating the Sultanate of Malwa at the Battle of Sarangpur in 1437 — an event he commemorated by constructing the Vijay Stambha tower at Chittorgarh. Coinage from his reign is administratively significant: Mewar under Kumbha maintained a degree of monetary independence from the Delhi Sultanate's sphere that many contemporary Rajput states had already surrendered.
The 35-year span of this issue makes die attribution difficult, and specimens vary considerably in fabric and striking quality across that window.
