Obverse description Central field occupied by the royal name of King Prithvi Bir Bikram Shah Dev rendered in Devanagari (Nagari) script, flanked by a pair of symbolic royal feet (sri pada) above and a khukuri (kukri blade) device below. The legend is arranged in a dense, multi-line panel typical of late Rana-era Nepalese copper coinage. The entire central device is enclosed within a decorative border of repeating crescent motifs running around the full periphery of the coin.

Reverse description Central field features a trishula (trident) within a small circular cartouche at the centre, surrounded by multi-line Devanagari inscriptions recording the regnal dedication to Sri Bhabani, the Vikrama Samvat date, and the issuing authority Nepal Sarkar. The inscriptions fill the field in the characteristic dense panelled style of Nepalese paisa coinage of this period. The outer border is composed of a continuous ring of crescent ornaments matching the obverse treatment.
