| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a bold Arabic inscription rendered in a cursive Naskh style, giving the regnal name and titles of Nawab Muhammad Ibrahim Ali Khan, ruler of Tonk (r. 1867–1930). The legend is distributed across the flan in two or three lines, with a Hijri date appearing within or below the inscription. The design fills the field to the rim with no border ornament, characteristic of the informally struck copper coinage of this princely state. The coin exhibits the irregular flan and shallow relief typical of hand-struck issues of Tonk. |
