| Obverse description | Central device depicts a radiant sun rising above three stylized hills, the composition flanked symmetrically on either side by outward-curving grain sprigs that frame the field. The Devanagari legend श्री नेपाल सरकार arcs along the upper periphery, with the Vikrama Samvat date २०१२ inscribed along the lower field. The overall design is rendered in low relief on a plain, unbordered field characteristic of mid-twentieth-century Nepalese coinage. |
