| 背面描述 | Hammered reverse with an irregular lobated border. The central field bears a stylized spear or lance motif oriented to the left, accompanied by scattered raised pellets and crude linear incisions characteristic of provincial Maratha coinage. A large circular element is visible in the upper field, consistent with the rudimentary engraving style of the Jawad mint. The surface exhibits heavy green patination typical of buried or aged copper issues. |

Mahadji Scindia, who died in February 1794, had by then rebuilt the Maratha confederacy into a formidable north Indian power — commanding Mughal emperor Shah Alam II's court at Delhi as his de facto regent. The Jawad mint operated under his authority during precisely this terminal phase of his reign, making issues from 1793–94 effectively the last copper coinage struck in his name before succession passed to Daulat Rao Scindia.
