| Reverse description | The reverse displays an inscription in Devanagari script arranged across the field in multiple lines, recording the ruler's name and regnal or date details. A circular border legend also in Devanagari runs around the periphery of the square flan. The lettering is boldly incuse-raised and somewhat roughly executed, consistent with the hammered coinage tradition of the Dungarpur princely state. The overall layout is typical of Indian princely state copper issues of the mid-twentieth century. |
